Whipping through Bangkok at night in Tuk Tuks with my people was everything! 😂🇹🇭💨

From Chinatown to a beautiful temple and the flower market, the vibes were unmatched.

Fun fact: Tuk Tuks have been part of Thailand’s culture since the 1960s and became a popular way to navigate the busy streets of Bangkok. Today, they’re one of the most iconic experiences for visitors to Thailand.

Moral of the story: Get you a crew that’s just as crazy as you are and say yes to the Tuk Tuk ride. 🤣🛺

Made it to Bangkok yesterday. 🇹🇭

Before the temples, markets, tuk-tuks there was one very important stop to make.…..7-Eleven. 😂

Ever since I discovered these last summer, they’ve been living rent-free in my memory. So naturally, one of my first purchases in Thailand was three strawberry Kit Kats for 30 Baht. No regrets.

The smallest traditions become part of the adventure too.

It’s good to be back. 🇹🇭🍓🍫

The journey continues! ✈️

After 12 hours in the air, I’ve officially arrived in the beautiful Kingdom of Bahrain. 🇧🇭

I’ll be here just for the day, taking advantage of the opportunity to explore a little bit. We’ve already checked into the Bahrain Airport Hotel for some rest and regrouping before the journey continues.

One thing I’ve learned about travel is that the small stops are part of the story too. 😉

I’m gonna always make the most of every mile and every minute of the journey. 💙

The trip is booked.
The documents are ready.

The suitcase and I are currently not speaking.

The travel packets are headed out, which means 1️⃣ thing.….

THIS SHI*T IS REALLY HAPPENING. 🇹🇭✈️

One week from today, travelers from Atlanta, Chicago, Tallahassee, Nassau, Pollocksville, and Duuuval will begin making our way to Thailand for a journey that will take us from the energy of Bangkok to the beauty of Phuket.

For months, Thailand has lived in group chats, planning calls, and daydreams.

Next week, it becomes reality.

✔️The countdown is on.

✔️The bags are coming out.

✔️The excitement is building.

Thailand, we’re on our way.

Back home after an unforgettable week filled with family, wellness, laughter, a little craziness, a little rain, and entirely too much ☀️ for me. 😂

Jacksonville was time well spent with family. Learning about Lem, hanging in my bestie’s office, eating at Tummy Time, and exchanging funny shirts just because.

Then it was time to board Star of the Seas for the Black Girls Mental Health Foundation Wellness Cruise. The week allowed us to slow down and pour back into ourselves through workshops, walks, yoga, game nights, good conversations, and endless laughs.

And yes… I definitely brought back 3 extra pounds too. 😂🍽️ I mean, what’s the point of traveling if you’re not going to enjoy the food?

Now it’s back home, back to the grind, and wrapping up the last week of school before summer officially begins.

🧳 Next stop: Thailand. 🇹🇭✈️🌎
