To apply for permission to travel abroad with Tusker Travels Inc. a traveler must be: 1. Enrolled in any local school as a sophomore, junior, or senior at the time of the trip (unless otherwise stated in the trip description) 2. In appropriate social, emotional, and physical health 3. Able to self-medicate any required medications
Traveler Submits on the online application: 1. Agreement of Participation 2. Supplemental Fees Agreement 3. Waiver and Indemnification Agreement 4. Student Letter of Interest 5. 3 Teacher Character Reference Forms (1 form can be from a current employer) 6. Tour Company Enrollment Form & Deposit: You can have this payment charged to your credit card or directly to your checking account by filling out the necessary information on the Enrollment Form. This charge will not go through if your travel application is denied.
Approval Process: -The committee will review applications and return a "Yes" or "No" decision. The committee consists of Christine Lepkowski, William Maelia, Christine Brooks, Anna Timone, and Angela Holder. The decision of the committee is final; the committee is not required to give parents, guardians, or travelers a reason for denial. No information contained in the confidential character references will be shared with the traveler or his/her parent or guardian.
