The Pont du Gard is an ancient Roman aqueduct bridge built in the first century AD to carry water over 50 km to the Roman colony of Nemausus. It crosses the river Gardon near the town of Vers-Pont-du-Gard in southern France. The Pont du Gard is one of the best preserved Roman aqueduct bridges.

After a long overnight flight, we did some exploring in Paris. Students had time to go in Notre Dame, explore the bouquinistes along the Seine River or find themselves the perfect authentic french lunch or snack.

So thankful for our bus driver Walter who spotted the most amazing wildlife! Tonight we had our closest sloth encounter and first glimpse of the 2-toed sloth, the larger more nocturnal of the two types. 🦥

To apply for permission to travel abroad with Tusker Travels Inc. a traveler must be:
1. Enrolled in any local school as a sophomore, junior, or senior at the time of the trip (unless otherwise stated in the trip description)
2. In appropriate social, emotional, and physical health
3. Able to self-medicate any required medications
Traveler Submits on the online application:
1. Agreement of Participation
2. Supplemental Fees Agreement
3. Waiver and Indemnification Agreement
4. Student Letter of Interest
5. 3 Teacher Character Reference Forms (1 form can be from a current employer)
6. Tour Company Enrollment Form & Deposit: You can have this payment charged to your credit card or directly to your checking account by filling out the necessary information on the Enrollment Form. This charge will not go through if your travel application is denied.
Approval Process:
-The committee will review applications and return a "Yes" or "No" decision. The committee consists of Christine Lepkowski, William Maelia, Christine Brooks, Anna Timone, and Angela Holder. The decision of the committee is final; the committee is not required to give parents, guardians, or travelers a reason for denial. No information contained in the confidential character references will be shared with the traveler or his/her parent or guardian.
