Glacier Point Road will reopen on Saturday, October 10, at 7 am. Please drive carefully and watch for firefighters working along the road.

All southbound trailheads on Glacier Point Road, except the Panorama Trail, remain closed.

The Dome Fire is 6,829 acres. Containment increased to 61% on the Dome Fire yesterday as firefighters continued to work in challenging remote conditions. Aircraft supported Interagency Hotshot Crews on the ground and kept the fire in its current footprint. Yesterday, fire activity was minimal. Air quality is predicted to remain good to moderate throughout the park.
