POSTPONED!!! The May 9th SOPCHOPPY Market and Yard Sale will be postponed until Saturday June 13th due to rain in the forecast. We apologize for the inconvenience but hope to see you all the 2nd Saturday in June at the Old Sopchoppy School Gym. More information will be posted closer to the date.

SAVE THE WAKULLA SPRINGS LAB! Check the link. It is easy. The Wakulla Springs Lab at Florida State University, launched in 2024, combines environmental research and communication to study and protect Wakulla Springs while educating our community.
Although funding passed the legislature last year, it was vetoed by Ron DeSantis. This year, it has advanced again but depends on final approval.
Please consider signing our student-led letter to help secure funding for this important work.

• Time: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM
• Location: 164 Yellow Jacket Ave, Sopchoppy, FL
• Cost: $150 per child (And yes—the 4th child is free!)
• Ages 5-12

Get Festival Ready! 🪱🔨

With the Worm Gruntin’ Festival only a few weeks away, we’re opening up the vault! If you missed out on previous years or just want to add to your collection, now is your chance to snag a 2023 Worm Gruntin’ shirt.

We have a very limited “vintage” stash available in the following:
* XS – Light Green
* S – Gray
* S – Red-Orange

These are strictly first-come, first-served, and once they’re gone, they’re gone for good!

The Sopchoppy Opry is beyond thrilled to announce a very special guest arriving this summer. He’s a Quincy native, a Florida Artist Hall of Fame inductee, and a Grammy-winning legend who has defined country music for decades. 🎸✨

From winning Star Search to releasing multi-platinum hits like “Only Here for a Little While” and “Billy the Kid,” this “Young Man” is finally making his way back to his Florida roots and our Sopchoppy stage.
