I got gophers at my house. Super annoying. My brother has a whole different problem. This guy opened a sliding door. Took a bag of peanut butter pretzels out to the lawn and then went back inside and climbed a set of stairs. Probably looking for something to wash the pretzels down. Oh my….

Another Crew Classic comes and goes. Four plus decades and it still give me goosebumps to watch the elite programs battle it out. 4,000 athletes and over 150 races and a Water Operations team that crushed a ridiculous amount of work.
I am immensely proud of what we do each year to help make this event happen.

I actually expected to be disappointed with our Whale Shark swim. It’s a highly-regulated industry putting hundreds of people on to whale sharks each day.
In the end, our guides were super respectful. The experience was amazing and the whale sharks never appeared to be bothered by our presence. All things considered, the Mexican government is doing a great job of providing a wildlife opportunity and looking out for these juvenile creatures. Pleasantly surprised.

The beauty of the Sea of Cortez is just unreal. The harsh terrain, the dry desert air, mirrored reflections and volcanic outlines. It sticks with you.
I spent afternoons deep into Overstory by Richard Powers and immersed in the natural beauty of the views in every direction. Don’t miss out if you ever get the chance to visit.
