The triple crown!! All THREE decks have been refreshed, and they look great, finishing off the exterior "brightening up"! You may notice that the edge boards are a different color. Nobody told us to do this, but it's a signal indicating the end of the decks. You know that saying about an "ounce of prevention is better than a pound of cure"? We live that. Hope you like it!

Talk about tiny details! Well, tiny until they become important! This is the new shower head in the "kid's" bathroom. Nothing special, until you think of a baby needing a bath! The tub itself is CLEAN white, so you can SEE everything. There is no shower door, so the curtain can be FULLY opened, allowing full access to an active baby with NOTHING in the way. The toilet cover is a SOLID WOOD seat, for parent comfort and stability! Oh yes, then there is that little shower head (new for July) on a hose for a FUN bath for baby. Just a little detail. Kind of like we think about that stuff!! ENJOY!!!

Another example: That new, beautiful and solid gaming table is larger than the old one it replaced. (That wasn't hard to see coming)! SO, the overhead lighting was WAY off! It didn't take long to install a proper hook in the right place and get the fixture JUST RIGHT, but it had to be done - and done right!

What's going on at Tahoe Acres? Well, the entire family was on scene for July 4th. This was the "stress test" we do, to make sure the home is working the way it should. Really, how else are we going to find out how well the plumbing is working when 3 people are showering, and some one flushes a toilet? Glad to report: PASS!!

Then there is placing all that artwork the way WE want it, patching a hole a woodpecker pecked, and even replacing the screws on switch plates that don't match. Yeah, we do that!

Still getting ready for the inspection, needed before we can go back to business for you!

So, I'm staying busy, putting on the final touches for when YOU come to visit. Will you notice all we did? Probably NOT, which is the whole idea!!

The spring block of time to refresh Tahoe Acres is drawing to a close, as we prepare to turn the property over to the LTA Housekeeping team! They have scheduled a VERY DEEP CLEAN for the property, to clean up any speck of dust we may have made along the way. I hear that the management and photography people will be coming in next Friday, when housekeeping lets them in!!! Things are progressing beautifully!! On a side note, tomorrow will be the ONLY Friday in May, where the furniture truck does NOT show up at Tahoe Acres!

Now for a first look at the new game table we're providing for our, and our guests, fun and enjoyment!! I just couldn't wait to show it off! It flips over to reveal a card playing table with places for chips and your favorite drink!! It IS as solid as it looks!

Keep going! The furniture truck returns next Friday: They can't seem to find the adapter to make the new bed's reading lights work, so they're just bringing a whole new headboard assembly! 😺

Another Friday. Among everything else going on, another furniture truck is making it's way up the mountain to Tahoe Acres! Among the goodies inside is a NEW gaming table with comfortable chairs! It even flips over to reveal a full poker table! How about that! The old bamboo table, (still visible in some web photos) hosted many a fun game, but it was time for retirement. You will LOVE the new table, we're betting on it! (Just for fun, of course)!
