Funny these fish are not the native species and just because they say it doesn’t make it true. The Paiute Cutthroat Trout were native until early 1900’s but are now extinct. These same “Scientists” used the endangered species act to bring in a non native species the Lahontan Cutthroat that is really struggling to survive as it is one of the most docile of cutthroat. The Pilot Peak cutthroat is closed genetic match but for some unknown reason the Lahontan is the darling fish of “these scientists”?

Researchers from across the globe recently met in the Lake Tahoe region to focus on an unusual conservation mission: protecting the largest trout species on Earth.

Book with fishing booker, fareharbor, guide street. All hacks never picked up a rod but sh*tty guides use them because they are tech guys feeding horrible guides your charter. Don’t touch any of those sites. Costs you more and takes away from established guides, that know what they are doing to charge you and the guide fees?!?! Run from these hacks! Gooogle fishing in Lake Tahoe or wherever your fishing and avoid the booking sites go straight to the business.

A couple of the fish we caught today. I think we ended with 27 total lil dude was awesome great people. Join us for a great day on Lake Tahoe. Some days quantity, others quality some both but never a bad day or a skunk!
