Long before he founded Chow Town Food Tours, Max was a kid growing up in north Jersey. Back then, meals were served at eye level. He couldn't quite reach the good stuff. Today, he can reach anything on the table, and it shows! Max is a foodie who can't wait to share the best of his home turf -- suburban New Jersey -- with you, the newest citizens of Chow Town. Another reason to bring a food tour to town — it’s home to a regionally acclaimed theater and gem in the Jersey arts scene. Translation— crowds come to town looking to eat. And the theater restaurant is seriously upping its game. ✅✅✅✅

Thanks so much to Hawley, Ashley, Reaghan, Joe, and Chef Mara for welcoming us into the F.M. Kirby Carriage House at Paper Mill Playhouse for an intimate tasting of the enticing brunch menu. Margarita was on point 🍹

Don’t you love this cheeky little cab that lives in the driveway 🚕

This weekend’s food tour of Bloomfield Avenue in Montclair was a blast, thanks to some of the best restaurants & culinary entrepreneurs in NJ - mesob Teglia Pizza Bar Crepes Chantal Bijoux French Pastry w

Chantal, for piloting in to deliver her patented crepe kebobs. Joe for the VIP tasting and personal touch. Brukthi for showing us so much love and attention. The whole Bijoux crew for crafting some of the most exquisite pastries in the game.

And huge thanks to Angelica at Montclair History Center for co-leading this tour so expertly & providing a hyper local and fascinating exploration of Montclair’s past and present. Can’t wait to do it again!
