ENGLISH VERSION:
"UFO Beach" is located in South Padre Island Texas and has become a growing tourist attraction due to the unmarked & unofficial nudist sector of the island. This section of the beach is located 8 miles north from where the paved road ends and the sand dunes begin. An ocean buoy that was washed ashore during a hurricane in the early 2000's has become the landmark of arrival to this

hot spot of the island and it has now been artistically decorated with the words like "NUDIST BEACH" and "No Tan Lines" to its peculiar flying saucer characteristic thus creating the name "UFO BEACH". Due to the location of his sector and the limited roadways to reach the area, Beach Patrols hardly pay a visit to "UFO Beach" making it easy for visitors to enjoy a breeze and tan with little to now garments on and although this is not an official n**e site people enjoy the hobby year around.

"Playa UFO" esta ubicada en La Isla del Padre en Texas y se ha convertido en una atraccion turistica debido a su sector extraoficial nudista. Esta seccion de la playa esta ubicada 8 millas al norte de donde termina la carretera principal y donde inician las dunas de arena. Durante los años 2000 en epoca de huracanes una boya oceanica fue arrastrada hacia la costa y se ha convertido en el punto de referencia como llegada a este popular sector de la playa, quien desde entonces y a traves de los años artistas lo han decorado con palabras en ingles como "Playa Nudista" y "Sin Lineas de Bronceado" ya que por su rara y peculiar forma de platillo volador le ha otorgado el nombre oficial como "Playa UFO" a esta seccion de la isla. La ubicacion de este sector de la playa y carreteras limitadas es dificil y practicamente imposible que policias y/o guardacostas accesen el area dandole oportunidad a visitantes de disfrutar de un bronceado perfecto sin o con muy poca ropa, haciendo de este sector un pasatiempo favorito para las personas a lo largo de todo el año.

There is never a dull moment at UFO Beach - South Padre Island Texas because this weekend we had visitors from all over the country that came to visit and by the looks of it one in particular was having the time of his life by the UFO near our tranquil and serene beach just north of South Padre Island Texas.

Meet Doug from the State of Montana who was 66 years old and the responsible artist behind the colorful and artistic designs at UFO Beach - South Padre Island Texas landmark. Back in April of 2016 staff from SPI LIFE spotted him working on the popular buoy completely naked and as the team arrived he respectfully covered up with his speedo. According to SPI LIFE, Doug was the only artist responsible of decorating our landmark in the past and stated that he always enjoyed company while working on it specially "no tan line" minded individuals. Unfortunately Doug passed away a few years ago leaving his legacy of art for the memory of the many visitors today.
