“Travel South Padre Island” began back in Boston in the year 2010 back when I didn’t even know Texas had an island. I never had the thought of moving to Texas never mind that it had its own barrier island! I guess I really never thought of it. 2011 I made my move from Boston to Texas. I lived the island life for 5-years while I built my own little destination wedding studio down there. Everything
was good and moving in a good direction. Growing up in the city, for me, something was missing. The island can only offer so much. I moved off the island at the end of April in 2020, the year of Covid-19. This page continued to grow. My adventure took me to New Braunfels a beautiful city between Austin and San Antonio. It is a nice little spot located on the edge of best part of Texas, the Hill Country. If you have never been here it is a treat! OK, now back to my story. I needed more than what the island could offer at the time. The people I made friends with on SPI told me that I out grew the island life for now. For the moment I didn't know what that meant. Since living in New Braunfels I have built a solid foundation here in the direction of elopement and intimate weddings. I specialize in weddings with fewer than 25 guests however my passion is creating a two-person adventure love story. Elopements may not mean what you think it means or what we have grown up thinking it was. It is actually something pretty magical. It’s something that can be more than a 1-hour beach wedding. It’s one year later since I moved from SPI and now I’m back here updating this page March 3/6/21 to tell you that it took me five years and for me to move off the island to figure out what I needed to make the island work. Now some of you have been following me since I move to Boston and most of you tuned into my story when I moved to SPI in 2015. The adventure continues…
