Casco Bay Adventures Casco Bay Adventures became an official company in late summer 2013. We now offer a variety of "adventures".

Join us fishing,hauling lobster traps and viewing lighthouses and marine wildlife on Portland's historic Casco Bay or name your adventure and we'll work to make it happen! The idea for CBA was first "hatched" some ten years ago with a bunch of guys hanging out on Stave Island thinking about how much fun other folks would have doing the things we normally do on the bay. While our "official" motto is "Maine Your Adventure", our unofficial motto is, "What do you want to do (on Casco Bay), we'll do it!!" We did our last charter of the year this past week with a great family group from the Atlanta area. It was quite chilly and a bit rough "on the outside" but they were tough and we had a great trip. The coolest part was when we were surrounded by porpoises. We also saw the bald eagles together on Pumpkin Nob, caught lots of macs in the same area and hauled our remaining traps. We thank everyone for a great season and look forward to next year!!!!

A fun family group from Massachusetts and Great Britain had a nice fall-like morning on the bay fishing and lobstering with us. While the season has started to slow down, we plan to be running trips until mid-October if you or someone you know wants to book with us.

CBA participated in the Veterans Appreciation Tournament at our marina today along with 30 other captains who hosted our veterans for a complimentary day of fishing. We had a great crew of 3 vets, 2 from North Carolina and one from Maine and had a super time catching (and releasing) a couple of dozen cod. We also saw a minke whale, several seals and some porpoises.
