Glory in the world of Major League Baseball today as a team wins its first ever World Series Championship! Congrats Washington Nationals and their fans! (Are they happy in Montreal?)

The Nats were handcuffed by Houston starter Zack Greinke who gave up only 2 hits in six innings. Washington scored all six runs in the last three innings.

can attest to the cold at AT&T Park! Plenty of Giants Love in the air by the bay however. Notsomuch for the nearby A's. We missed Oakland on this trip because the team was out of town. (The universal rejoinder? "You didn't miss much.")

Teams are on pace to combine for 192 losses — a total that has been topped only once since the A’s made this a two-team market in 1968.
