Down for mid year maintence. It's always beautiful in southern shores. It's great seeing the Smiling Sea Horse.

Another great season (2024) coming to an end. I hope all our renters made many great memories. I have heard from a few and the feedback has been extremely positive. My timing this week could not have been any better. I arrived to a beautiful sunset (See below). As you can see the beaches look great and as just as crowded as always (One yoga person). We are starting our plans for 2025 including a multi year plan to replace decking starting in the back for 2025. We also snagged a great deal on these chairs for the porch. Many thanks to our property management company Sun Realty Outer Banks Vacation Rentals and our manager barnett . Looking forward to another great season in 2025.

Just got back from our mid year maintenance/house check. The Smiling Seahorse is doing well! Feedback so far has been very positive. I am a little shocked at how crowded the beach was this morning (see pictures). Hope the rest of the season continues to be great and renters make many great memories! PS..love our lifeguards. Thanks for keeping the beach safe in front of our house.

Ready for the season! New outdoor furniture, deck steps, pool table felt and a few more items. Very excited for the new outdoor shower! Can't wait for the pictures from inside.

Wrapping up my week doing end of year maintenance to The Smiling Seahorse. I want to thank all renters this year. I hope you made many happy memories to last a life time. I also need to give a shout out to our PM Sun Reality. They have been a great partner and feedback has Indicated they help ensure our renters enjoy their time here. We are planning for the 2024 season and will have some exciting updates that will be posted soon. Thank you again and look forward to 2024 season!

Came down for mid season maintenence. The Smiling Sea Horse is doing well. We loved seeing our Southern Shores lifeguards on duty at our beach access. These guys do a great job in this sweltering heat! Btw...you can see how crowded our beaches get. Good thing we got there at 11am to claim our spot LOL!

We just received our first 2 bookings for 2024 season. Feedback so far for 2023 has been great. We are trying to see what exciting things we can do for 2024. So happy everyone has been having a great time and looking forward to finishing the season with many happy families.

After several weeks of prepping and cleaning, I think we are ready for the 2023 season. The swing came out great. Our daughter tested for hours and it’s one of her favorite places to sit. Watching the moon last night was amazing. It felt like it was watching over us and gave us the thumbs up 👍 that we were ready. We hope all our renters enjoy all the Smiling Sea Horse has to offer and many great memory’s are made this year.

Love the latest project and we hope our 2023 renters will like this too. New electric outlet and lights in the Gazebo! This isn't finished yet and probably wont be red, but love the way it looks. i'm sure there will be more improvements for 2023.

Just got two sets of these (4 chairs and 2 tables) . We are starting to purchase and make plans for 2023 guest. I think guests are going to enjoy these around the fire pit we installed in 2022. Love finding things for the house and for our guests to enjoy.
