Did you know?

If you fell in love with the beautiful coastal scenery in Remarkably Bright Creatures, you might be surprised to learn that many of the scenes weren't filmed in Washington State at all!

While the story is set along the Puget Sound, much of the filming took place in beautiful Vancouver, British Columbia. The charming fictional town of Sowell Bay came to life in Vancouver's picturesque Deep Cove neighborhood, known for its waterfront views, mountains, and laid-back coastal charm.

And for fans of Marcellus the octopus? Some scenes were filmed at the Vancouver Aquarium, home to Agnetha, a giant Pacific octopus who served as the visual inspiration for the beloved character.

It's a wonderful reminder that some of the most magical travel experiences can be found in places that bring our favorite stories to life.
