My tour, in operation for 21 yrs is unlike the majority of ghost tours that you’ll find in most cities that draw out of town guests. One difference is that I’m a lower Cape Fear historian and the content of the tour comes from a myriad of primary source materials. Another is oral interpretation; content that comes not from average library books, free plaques dotted along streets, town printed brochures. Instead it comes from the voices of the past, those who lived it, passing it down throughout generations. The greatest difference is the presentation. Not regurgitating facts or bits of intrigue, but like a good book and I, the author. I mean to transport my guests. Take them to another time. Another place. Let them dwell if only for a moment and invite you to come get acquainted with the night, discover why we are called Cape Fear

A friendly reminder, we are closed Sun, Mon as we have for 20 years, and Independence Day, July 4th. Due to the festivities, the live music, vendors etc it’s impossible to conduct anything remotely resembling a decent tour. I’m forced to shut down due to that and that where we walk is often glutted with tents, chairs, and so on. I can proudly project my voice but not over live music and fireworks! We will resume on July 5th. I hope y’all have a wonderful time enjoying the spirit of our great nation and the time with your family and friends👻🇺🇸

Finishing 2022 with what I do best! In just 2 months in 2023 the business turns 20 years old! Thank you for an amazing year, and spending the last eve of this year on the ghost tour. 2023 is going to be one for the books with some new and incredible tours so stay tuned. I’m aiming to get better with age! Happy New Year’s everyone

Reminder that the Old South Tour Tiny Store will be at the bench this evening by the sign. Get there a few min early to browse t shirts a vast array of vinyl stickers, mugs, magnets, fans and other merch. Candy too for anyone wanting a treat and for kids who don’t want candy there’s a few spooktacular toys.
