Well, we’ve been pretty great this season at helping a lot of people (and dogs!) Get Out Sailing—but not quite as great at posting about all the adventures along the way.

So, here’s a little sample of what we’ve experienced on the water so far this season:

• An Ocean Sunfish — video coming soon!
• A large, active school of striped bass right alongside the boat
• A sunset sail to Bar Harbor, followed by a nighttime trip back for my first mate and me
• A guest joining us for her 15th trip aboard Snow Squall!
• Watching a grandfather with his family get absolutely giddy at the helm as the Snow Squall raced rail down through the Western Way

And that’s just a small piece of the season.

There’s something pretty special about sharing the waters around Mount Desert Island with people who are seeing them from a sailboat for the first time—and even more special when they come back and sail with us again and again.

We’re down to just two more weeks of charters this season, and we have only a few openings left because the entire Get Out Sailing crew heads back to school.

If you don’t see an opening that works for you, send us a message anyway. We’ll always do our best to see what we can make work.
