Friday April 18, 2025 E-Bike rental season started on the Park Loop Road Acadia NP for
Island Time Ebike Rentals & Tours.

Our season here at Island Time Ebike Rentals & Tours is just about to kick into gear and here's a peek at one of the spots on Park Loop Road Acadia NP where we're touring early season before the carriage trails open.

Made a lunch stop at the usual spot by Jordan Pond House while riding the Park Loop Road Acadia NP . Most of the road is not open to cars for a couple more weeks and it's already pretty clear of debris the entire route.
Left from Island Time Ebike Rentals & Tours riding over to the Cadillac Mountain, Acadia access road to begin and end the Park Loop. This is a 45 mile ride. During summer this route will be much more difficult to navigate with cars and people so if you can, take a break and come visit soon!

Getting the E-Bike out, warming up the legs and preparing for lots of miles this season.

Today's beautiful weather was a great opportunity to get out on my E-Bike and go ride the Park Loop Road, which is not open to vehicles yet. Some sections still have a little winter debris, but it was an incredibly fun ride. Spring has started showing off many of it's gorgeous colors here on the island!
This route started and ended at Island Time Ebike Rentals & Tours and was 50 miles. Visited the Hulls Cove Visitor Center on the North side of the route and rode through Bar Harbor on the way back.
(This mileage and vertical feet climbed should not be considered manageable on one typical E-Bike battery charge. I have 2 batteries for my own bike and I bring them both along every ride). Hope to see you out here soon!

Eventually the beavers figured out that the smaller tree they originally tried to bring down had grown a graft onto the larger tree next to it, and they brought that larger one down as well.
