Our collaborative organization was formed by merging the Spartanburg Area Chamber of Commerce, the Spartanburg Convention and Visitors Bureau, and the Spartanburg Economic Futures Group in order to maximize our community's investment.

OneSpartanburg, Inc. is not affiliated with any group or funding effort attempting to influence County Council elections. Claims by candidates that we are linked to spending behind recent mailers, and that we invited candidates to meet with our investors, are false.

We do aim to educate our constituents and partners on local candidates’ views on economic issues. We invited candidates to speak to municipal leaders at our regularly scheduled Mayoral meeting, and invited candidates to respond to a survey on key economic issues. OneSpartanburg, Inc. is honored to have been named a finalist for the 2026 U.S. Chamber of the Year Award, presented by the Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives, alongside the Greater Des Moines Partnership in Des Moines, Iowa, and the Mobile Area Chamber of Commerce, in Mobile, Ala. This prestigious award, recognizing excellence in operations and community impact, reflects the collective efforts of our board, investors, community partners, and dedicated team members who work everyday to advance economic opportunity and enhance quality of life across Spartanburg County.
OneSpartanburg, Inc.’s submission spoke to its collective model, economic impact, record of job creation, and advocacy efforts to improve Spartanburg’s infrastructure, as well as highlighting three impactful community development efforts in small business and talent development, Power Up Spartanburg, EDGE Work-Based Learning, and Re: Degree Spartanburg.
