Spencer Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors attended a special awards ceremony on Friday afternoon recognizing Sara and Matt Ricke and The Great Hall of Royal for their community contributions in Clay County. During times of local crisis, especially the 2024 flooding, they stepped up in big ways, from helping at shelters to making breakfast for those in need. Their work through the Great Hall has made a real difference, and that impact was officially recognized with the Small Business of the Week award, presented by Senator Joni Ernst.
