They tell us “stop eating out” while rent is $1,000.
They tell us “save for retirement” when we can barely save for next week.
They tell us “buy a home” while every starter home is half a million dollars.

We’re NOT asking for handouts.
We ARE asking for a fair shot.

Because the truth is — our parents didn’t work harder than us.
The world was simply different.

Their wages covered their lives.
Ours don’t.
And no amount of budgeting can fix a system designed to keep us chasing our tails.

We’re doing the best we can in a game that feels rigged.
And somehow, we’re still finding ways to love, to laugh, and to fight for a better future for our kids.
That’s something no economy can take from us. 💪🏼💕

We can't find skipping rocks in Texas, so while we're at home we'll prep for a fishing day when we can. Making our own with clay, plenty of drying time. They can even paint them once dry.

Those crystals will mess you up. My throat and mouth felt like it had a thousand needles 🪡 I was scraping my tongue and tried all the warm fluids and online ideas, only time healed that fun mistake 🙃 My search engine said yes yes yes go ahead and eat it, leaves and root. nothing about cooking it until I immediately knew what was happening and searched my symptoms. Only then it said, oh yeah and you need to cook it 🙃 Good deal 👍🏼There won't even be a next time so no worries 🤣 I have actually safely eaten the root as well, not a fan.

So thankful for church family! Nothing like a bunch of amazing people coming together to always help out whoever is in need 💒✝️ Lots of great advice and a sweet friend from church gave us some Mullien and the rowe casa organics throat spray while I was out looking for this honey. Thankful to find this at Archies as well, we have already used some 💕🍯🐝 Rudy's Honey Only Denum is left with this sickness that's been passed around locally. Fun stuff 🙃 We are ready for him to feel better so we can do a few more fun adventures before school starts back up. Keep him in your prayers please! 🙏🏼🙌🏼

Check out the watermelons, shampoo ginger, and that stupid taro plant that tried to take my life 🤣😂 Do NOT eat RAW Taro. It must be cooked before eating, as raw taro contains calcium oxalate which can cause throat irritation. It's poisonous. That sounds way more chill than how it felt... Just saying 😆

Nothing like the smell of fresh bread! 🥰
