Portugal was a blast! Due to train strikes, I didn't make it to the annual São João festival in Porto. I detoured to the Algarve region instead and stayed in the town of Lagos. It was the perfect bit of relaxation I needed after spending time in the busy city of Lisbon. From lively cities, to historical hillside castles, to sunny beaches...Portugal has it all!
