As we honor the life and legacy of County Mayor Billy Vogle, we fondly remember his love for his community.

This past summer, we hosted a group of travel writers and content creators from across the U.S. While exploring downtown Springfield, we unexpectedly crossed paths with Mayor Vogle as he was headed to a proclamation reading. True to who he was, he stopped what he was doing, greeted every guest, asked where they were from, wanted to know what they thought of Robertson County and proudly showed off our historic courthouse.

Mayor Vogle understood tourism because he understood people. He knew that every visitor who chose to spend time in our community supported local businesses and that, long after they returned home, the tax dollars generated by their visits helped fund important resident services. Beyond the economic impact, he valued hospitality. He believed in making people feel welcome and always looked for ways to make others laugh.

His faith, devotion to family, love for community and servant leadership have left an enduring mark on Robertson County. We are grateful for his friendship, his support of tourism and the countless ways he worked to make this community stronger.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Mayor Vogle's family, friends and all who were blessed to know him.

Thank you, Billy, for loving Robertson County so well.

Big congratulations to two of Robertson County’s standout attractions, Bell Witch Cave and Bell Witch Fall Festival, for being featured in Tennessee’s Haunted Destinations press release! 👏👻

Both Adams attractions are helping bring one of Tennessee’s most famous legends to life, drawing visitors into the history, mystery, and spooky stories that make our community such a unique place to explore.

From the legendary Bell Witch Cave to the immersive productions and experiences at the Bell Witch Fall Festival, these attractions give visitors plenty of reasons to add Robertson County to their fall travel plans.
