Good Morning! Here is the latest MDOT update:



Site work has continued on the Springport Reconstruction project on M-99 from South St to Gibbs Rd. Work began the end of March. Construction is scheduled to be completed before mid-November 2026. Lane closures will continue throughout the project. We will keep everyone as informed as possible with these updates.



Progress Report:

Equalizing Culvert south of South St replaced
Storm Water Detention Pond Excavation completed
Fire Hydrant relocations
Weir installed in Detention Pond


Upcoming Work:

Utility relocations and demo
Watermain
Sanitary Sewer

Good Morning!

Site work has continued on the Springport Reconstruction project on M-99 from South St to Gibbs Rd. Work began the end of March. Construction is scheduled to be completed before mid-November 2026. Lane closures will continue throughout the project. We will keep everyone as informed as possible with these updates.

Newest update: Upcoming 3 day closure from Stark Rd northerly to Main St for culvert replacement. Starting 7am Saturday May 2 through 7 pm Monday May 4th.

Detour: NB - Head east on Devereaux Rd, north on Crawford Rd, west on Springport Rd.

SB - Head east on Springport Rd, south on Crawford Rd, west on Devereaux Rd.

Soil Erosion and Sediment Control Measures were installed
Trees have been cut in the proposed Right of Way
Utility relocations
Beginning Storm Water Detention Pond Excavation

Upcoming Work:

Stump removals
Strain pole base at the intersection of M-99 and Main St
Excavating for the proposed Storm Water Detention Pond east of Dollar General
