The Sanford Food Pantry is looking for volunteers to help greet shoppers during their food drive outside Hannaford, Shaw’s, and Walmart on Friday, October 30th and Saturday, October 31st. Shifts run from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, and each shift is just two hours.

You’ll be stationed near the store entrances, greeting customers as they head in, providing them with a list of suggested items, and asking if they would consider picking up an extra item or two to help a neighbor in need.

There are still opportunities to help, so if you can volunteer for a shift, or even two, please contact the Chamber for available shifts: 207-324-4280 or [email protected].

This is a great opportunity to make your business visible in the community. Thank you for helping us make this effort a success!

We are proud to be co-organizing a food drive to support the Sanford Food Pantry. They need to restock sooner than Thanksgiving this year, and need your help! Boxes can be found at the locations on the poster. They will also have volunteers 10/30 & 10/31 at Hannaford Supermarkets, Shaw's, and Walmart to collect goods.

Mainely Rustic joined the Chamber over the summer. Mainely Rustic is a home decor and furniture shop located at 63A Emery Mills Road in Shapleigh, Maine, originally founded in 2017. Current owner Brooke Hundley took over the business in 2025 and continues to carry on the shop’s mission of offering American-made, high-quality furniture alongside modern rustic decor, unique gifts, and a ladies’ boutique.
