Day 7 - Sea day and the last day on the beautiful Celebrity Apex!
Breakfast was a delightful splurge room of service brought to us by our favorite Butler, Pratik!
My lunch was nonexistent since we had a late breakfast. But we did have a delicious snack and expresso coffee at Cafe Al Bacio!
Dinner was in The Luminae by our wonderful wait staff, Umesha, Kris and Carlos! An added surprise was to see our favorite Luminae waiter from a previous ship! Roger recently moved to the Apex and he instantly remembered us! We really enjoyed his supreme service and wonderful sense of humor! What wonderful memories we had with him in the Luminae on a previous cruise! It's always exciting to run into a familiar face who remember us AND our names!! Way to go Roger!!!
Splurged the last day on a wonderful head to toe massage from Veronica in the beautiful Apex Spa!
Then relaxed in the cabin before watching the "Poolest Day Ever" at the Crew Vs Passengers water volleyball game! It was fun to see the crew in full uniform playing volleyball, even while it was raining!🥳
Spent a little time shopping for gifts and then playing roulette in the ONLY SMOKE-FREE CASINOS on the high seas!!! Love that about Celebrity Cruises
I really dislike smoking casinos!
Finally, a very special thanks our Retreat cabin steward, the awesome and so meticulous Sanjay, who hands down is the best cabin steward we have ever had. He is the only person I've met on a cruise who loves meeting people AND loves doing a wonderful job taking care of his guests and has been doing it aboard Celebrity Cruises for 25 YEARS!! 😱 Thank you Sanjay, for taking such wonderful care of me and my family!
The rest of the evening was preparing to depart early. We always choose an early departure and carry our own bags off the ship. This way we don't have to pack early and leave our luggage outside the door by 10pm the day before departure. I'm always adding last minute shopping items in my luggage!🤣
As always, the last day before departure is a sad one! It's so much fun when we do a back to back cruise (B2B) in the same cabin! No packing up and a deviosly selfish delight in knowing you will not be disembarking. Oh, but this time its our turn to be sad...😭
