The Kennedy Space Center is a hidden gem in Florida. It is a working space port that has public access. You can watch launches, see Space X booster at Hanger X if they are refusing one. It is great for the kids and any aviation enthusiast. The War Bird Museum is near by so it is a must see.

This is the second day in a row with temperatures in the hundreds, (104) power here is off for at least 16 hours a day. Thankfully it is on at night so we can run a fan. Surprisingly it will get into the low 60's after sunset, so we have actually been comfortable at night. But during the day even the birds, Baboons and Monkeys look for a cool place to pass the day. When we have not been out in the concession we have just been staying in the shade and reading.

We went out into the tribal lands this morning and saw a number of Buffalo, Kudu and one of the Baboon troops. There are two troops of Baboons. This morning early the dominant male of each troop was barking at each other, as to say " Stay on your side." I have wanted to get a picture of them but their leader maintains a good distance. When we got back the Hippos were out in the grass. There is a baby but I could not get a clear picture of him.

We were out in the concession this morning and saw our game scouts filling up the water hole. Saw Zebra, Blue Wildebeest, Eland, Impala, Bushbuck and a Jackal. Not bad for a couple of hours. We also saw all kinds of birds.
