Naked and not afraid.

It’s been a wild. I mean while. Many bath mats and guests later, here I am. 🤣

Running a rental, a spa, a home, and everything else is a blur most days. So many things circulating at any given time. How I keep it together, the answer is unknown.

Where there’s a will, there’s a way. After a 5 month stay vacated, it was time to turn over the unit to a sweet couple celebrating their 25th wedding anniversary in the retreat. Facials, massages, breakfast, and beyond. 🩷
THIS WAS MY DREAM.

This space creates memories for many, but I must say my favorite part is curating special retreats. If you’re needing a weekend away with all the things, you know who to call. 📞

It’s been a while, but I’m still here. ❤️

Nurses take up a lot of space in my heart. Many of you don’t know that I worked 8 years in healthcare before starting my esthetics career. From nursing homes to critical care. I worked at the bedside with patients and I truly believe it built my character to who I am today.

Fresh out of high school at 18 years old I saw my first tracheostomy, feeding tube, and every other known medical intervention there is out there. I was just a child learning my way in this world. I had to pretend for a long time that the things I saw weren’t as awful as they appeared. There were times I would sob in the linen closet wishing it was all a bad dream. Knowing that people were sick and alone broke my spirit in ways only nurses could possibly understand.

The gift of our healthcare workers to this world is simply unexplainable. The selflessness that goes into a workday is something not many understand. Nurses are truly angels on earth and it is my pleasure to give back in any way I can. These self care suites make me feel such goodness knowing that after a long day at work there’s a place to come home to that embodies true self care.

Whether it’s a weekend or a season, I love the opportunity to provide housing for anyone visiting St. Louis. Thank you so much for allowing me the opportunity to share my dreams with you. ❤️

Time Flies.

Thank you so much for spending 6 months here and taking such great care of this space.

This past week we’ve hosted an Italian couple who came for their sons wedding. They have been a 💎 to host. Two more short term stays until September and then another nurse moves in 9/13.

This keeps me BUSY, but I wouldn’t have it any other way. It’s a lot of work, but so worth it!
