Summer hasn’t officially started yet… but this is how it should begin. 🦞
A Maine Lobster Fest feast is one of those experiences that instantly sets the tone for the season ahead. Fresh, indulgent, coastal, and meant to be lingered over, not rushed. It’s about slowing down before calendars fill up, savoring what’s in season, and giving yourself something to look forward to as summer approaches.
This is the kind of moment that feels special because you planned it early. Before the crowds. Before schedules get hectic. Before summer flies by faster than expected.
If a coastal-inspired summer kickoff sounds like your style, I’d love to help you plan it thoughtfully and effortlessly. Click the link to explore the details, and let’s talk about making this part of your summer story.

Seat upgrades can be tricky because not all of them actually improve your experience.
If you’re going to pay for something, I usually recommend extra legroom or premium economy, that’s where you’ll actually notice a difference, especially on longer flights.

Everything else tends to be more “nice in theory” than meaningful in practice.

There are trips where you come home rested…
and trips where you come home saying, “Wait—I forgot to tell you what happened.”
Those are the ones that stick.
Most people don’t actually want just a vacation.
They want great food. Walkable places. Time to slow down.
They just don’t always know how to plan for that part.

I wrote about the difference, and why it matters, in my latest blog.
If you’ve been stuck in “we should probably plan something” mode, this might resonate.
Read it through the link and see which kind of trip you’re really craving.

This month looks a little different for everyone I’m planning for and that’s exactly why I love it.

June travel right now includes:
- honeymoons
- graduation trips
- bucket-list beach escapes
- anniversary celebrations
- and meaningful getaways close to home

Some trips are about slowing down.
Some are about celebrating big milestones.
Some are about finally doing the thing you’ve talked about for years.
The common thread?
They were planned with intention, not pressure.

If you’re starting to think ahead to a trip later this year or even next, this is your sign that you don’t need to have it all figured out before reaching out.
✈️ Click the link below and let’s talk about what kind of journey would actually feel right for you.

Phones abroad always turn into a bigger issue than people expect.
Relying on public Wi-Fi alone usually leads to frustration, so I recommend setting up either an international plan or eSIM before you travel.
It’s one of those small things that makes the whole trip feel smoother.

This is exactly why I love what I do. 💛

Briana W. just shared the sweetest note about her trip, and it truly says it all:
“We had a wonderful trip. Sara was so helpful throughout the process & made it so much easier to book everything including the excursions! I will definitely be booking my trips through her again!”

This is always the goal! Not just a great trip, but how easy it feels along the way. From booking to excursions to all the little details you don’t want to think about.
You dream it, I handle the planning, and you just show up ready to enjoy it. ✈️

This is one of those travel styles people don’t realize they’re looking for until they see it. ROAM by Tauck is small-group travel (about 16 guests) designed for travelers in their 40s & 50s who want expert guidance without a packed, rigid schedule. You get thoughtful access, smooth logistics, and real free time built in… which honestly makes a huge difference.

It’s a great option if you want the trip to feel intentional, well-paced, and easy without feeling overplanned. You can explore the itineraries through the link below, and if you’re wondering whether this would actually work for you, just reach out. We can talk it through before you commit to anything.

This is one of the biggest timing mistakes I see.
People wait on international flights thinking prices will drop, but in most cases, the best options are actually 4–8 months out. Even earlier for peak seasons like summer or Europe.

The longer you wait, the fewer good choices you usually have.
👉 If you’re thinking about an international trip, I’m happy to help you time it right before it gets harder (and more expensive). Link in comments below.

If you think you know river cruising… this might surprise you. Smaller ships. More space. Local guides who bring destinations to life.

Less rushing, more time to actually experience where you are. That’s why AmaWaterways feels like a true evolution of river cruising, not just a vacation, but a deeper connection to every stop along the way.

I need to say this because I hear it ALL the time…
“I’m just bad at planning trips.”
No… I’m gonna stop you right there 😅
You’re not bad at it. You’re just doing it in a way that basically guarantees you’ll feel overwhelmed and then blame yourself for it later.
And I say that with love… and also because I’ve watched this exact thing happen like 400 times.
You open tabs. You scroll. You save things. You text someone like “should we just go somewhere??”
And suddenly you’re tired. And annoyed. And somehow… still nowhere closer to actually going anywhere.

I wrote about what’s actually going on here and why this keeps happening (and yeah, there’s a very simple shift that changes everything but it’s not the one people think).
If you’ve ever gotten stuck in that loop of “I want to go somewhere but I can’t figure it out so I’ll just… not”, go read the full thing.
It’s all in the blog. Click the link in the comments below.
And honestly… this might explain way more than you think.
