I love what I do and I'm so grateful to be a Travel Advisor!

I love helping clients plan trips they’re excited about. I love matching people to the right destination, resort, or cruise. And I love making the whole process feel easier and less overwhelming.

Whether it’s a quick beach getaway, a bucket-list Europe trip, a honeymoon, or a family vacation… it means so much to me that people trust me with something this important.

Travel is about so much more than flights and hotels. It’s time together. Memories. Celebrations. Adventures. Expanding your horizons. Sometimes it’s the trip people have been dreaming about for years.

I just got back from the ASTA River Cruise Expo in Amsterdam, where I had the chance to tour 16 different river cruise ships in just a few days 🚢

And after seeing them all in person… I can definitely say a few really stood out.

Some impressed me with their cabins, some with their dining, and some just had that overall wow factor when it came to layout, space, and feel onboard.

The River Cruise Expo has been such an incredible experience! 🚢

Over the past week, I’ve had the opportunity to stay onboard, tour 16 different ships, and experience the food and atmosphere firsthand. And I have to tell you - river cruise lines may look similar online, but they feel very different in person.

This is exactly why experiences like this are so important. It allows me to really get a feel for each cruise line so I can match my clients with the one that fits them best.

✈️ I’m heading to Amsterdam next week for the River Cruise Expo — and I’m so excited!

I’ll be spending several days touring 16 different river cruise ships, meeting with the cruise lines, and even having meals onboard so I can experience what it’s really like.

Why does that matter for you?

Because river cruises may look similar online, but they can feel very different in person. Seeing the ships firsthand helps me understand the layouts, cabins, dining, and overall vibe of each one — so I can match my clients to the cruise that fits them best.

✈️ Flight cancelled? Here are some real tips that actually help.

❄️ Check your travel insurance policy
This is exactly when travel insurance shines. Many policies help cover extra hotel nights, meals, or rebooking costs caused by delays or cancellations. It’s one of the reasons I always recommend it - especially during winter travel.

💳 Don’t forget your credit card benefits
If you didn’t buy travel insurance - or your expenses go beyond the policy limits - check the credit card you used to book your flight. Many travel-focused cards include trip delay or cancellation coverage that can reimburse things like hotels, meals, or transportation when things go sideways.

📞 Reach out to the airline directly
Airlines are typically responsible for rebooking you on the next available flight. Calling the airline, using their app, or chatting online can sometimes get you rebooked faster than waiting in long airport lines.

⏰ Be proactive when storms are coming
When major weather events are forecasted, airlines often issue travel waivers. These let you change your flight ahead of time without penalties or change fees—sometimes saving a lot of stress (and money).

• Use your PTO (without guilt)
