We just returned from a week at Disney's Fort Wilderness resort at Walt Disney World. The newly designed cabins are beautiful and a great option if you want more space and a full kitchen, deck, and grill. The resort is beautiful and serene with stables, kayaking, archery, a nightly sing-a-long campfire with Chip and Dale and more! There is a lot to do when you aren't in the park! We also took full advantage Extended Evening hours for Deluxe Resort guests this trip (the cabins are in the Deluxe category) and spent late nights in the park riding attractions with low waits!

I'm behind on posting, but on May 23rd, we embarked on a 7-night Alaskan cruise from Vancouver to Whittier, Alaska aboard the Discovery Princess. We visited Ketchikan, Juneau, Skagway, Glacier Bay, and College Fjord. I know many of my clients have Alaska as a bucket list destination, and a cruise is the perfect way to experience this beautiful state! We saw so much wildlife (bears, moose, humpback whales, porpoises, otters, sea lions, bald eagles, and more) and endless breathtaking scenery. Activity highlights were our whale watching tour, the lumberjack show, and meeting sled dogs and puppies! I had the luxury of spending 10 days at Disney World for spring break and did all the things! Some highlights were spending lots of time at Epcot's International Flower and Garden Festival (my favorite festival of the year), two amazing and active Kilimanjaro Safari experiences, fantastic meals at restaurants we haven't been to in a while, and taking time to watch favorite shows! Yes, it was a very busy week, but with good use of lightning lanes and enjoying other entertainment, we never had a long wait!

So many new/re-imagined attractions will be opening soon, and I already can't wait for my next visit soon!

All of this snow and cold has me wishing I was back on Royal Caribbean's Wonder of the Seas! My sailing last week out of Miami was a great break from winter! I have had more interest in Royal Caribbean from my clients lately, so I wanted to check out one of their Oasis class ships for myself. One of the largest ships in the world, there is SO MUCH to do for all ages--surfing, 10 story water slides, ziplining, gourmet dining, themed lounges, a robot bar, and more! Plus their private island, Perfect Day at CocoCay, is fantastic! There is definitely something for everyone on the Oasis class ships! It's not too late to plan your next warm weather escape, whether a cruise, all inclusive, Disney or beyond!

I always recommend my clients fly in the day before cruise embarkation. Not only does it give you extra time in case of flight delays, but it extends your vacation and starts the fun early! I got in at noon today and got to spend the day enjoying my resort. And getting to the port tomorrow morning will be stress free after a good night's sleep!
