Jacobs Engineering is one of the world’s largest and most diverse providers of professional technical services employing more than 53,000 professionals in approximately 200 offices. In the St. Louis office, Jacobs has Infrastructure and Buildings Design Groups that deliver projects for many different public and private sector clients, the Army Corps of Engineers and many different state DOTs. Jacobs’ Infrastructure Group specializes in multi-modal transportation infrastructure projects. Projects include highways, bridges, railroads, light rail, waterways including port facility design, locks and dams, flood protection, and drainage control. Jacobs’ Building Group designs a wide range of building facilities for many different types of projects. With the combined Infrastructure and Buildings groups, Jacobs has the ability to perform most required work for a given project out of the same office. Other internal groups such as our geotechnical and cost estimating sections support both the Infrastructure and Buildings groups.
