We have exciting news. Some of you may have noticed over the years by Coffee Creek the Great Northern passenger car that has been sitting there for a long time. The owners have decided to gift it to our Geraldine Historical Committee that passenger car.

The railroad ( Central Montana Rail) is working on the moving of it. It will sit on the tracks right by our Milwaukee depot to start the restoration. Personal side. I had a dream a while back about Marcella throwing a fit because we were parking a Great Northern car by our Milwaukee depot. It was so real, like she was right there chewing on me. For those of you that don't know she was one of the original ladies with me that stopped the tearing down and burning of that depot. She was a diehard Milwaukee Road fan, her father worked for them. But that is a whole other story! We are so very grateful to Ed Taft, Paul Kenna and Mr. Wilson for saving the passenger car to begin with and then gifting to us. Thank you gentlemen so very much. It will be coming to Geraldine this fall.

Ok folks! The water is clear and mostly balanced. It'll be hard keeping the pH in check because we're constantly filling to combat the leak. We will open this Sunday at noon and run a 3 week season. It's clear a season pass would not be a good value this year, but the donation would be greatly appreciated.

Unfortunately, we won't be able to run swimming lessons. We're short staffed and time is running out. We will come back stronger next summer!
