What. A. Month. 🥹✨

August was a busy one in the best way. So many of my families were in Disney, and I absolutely loved getting all the pictures and updates while they were there. 💗

To finish the month #1 in trips traveled AND #1 in sales for Pixie Parks Travel is something I’m really proud of, but mostly just really grateful for.

So many of you continue to come back for another trip and send your friends and family my way, and there really isn’t a bigger compliment than that.

Thank you for trusting me with your vacations, sharing my name and continuing to support this little business of mine. It means more than you know. 🫶🏻

There is SO much more that goes into planning a Disney trip than just picking a resort and booking it. 😂🏰

So what am I actually doing when you book your trip with me?

Honestly… a lot. 😂

✨ Helping you figure out which resort actually makes sense for your family — because the cheapest option isn’t always the best option and the most expensive definitely isn’t always necessary.

✨ Getting to know how your family travels. Are we rope dropping every morning? Sleeping in? Taking pool breaks? Trying to squeeze in as much as possible? This matters!

✨ Watching for promotions. If something comes out after you book, I’m checking to see if we can apply it.

✨ Helping you plan your park days. There IS some strategy behind which park you do on which day.

✨ Talking dining — where to eat, what’s actually worth it, what works with your park plans and what reservations we need to grab.

✨ Walking you through Lightning Lanes because I know opening that screen for the first time can be 😵‍💫. I’ll tell you what I would prioritize and help you have a plan before your booking day.

✨ Answering the million random questions that come up between booking and your trip. And trust me… there will be questions. 😂

✨ Telling you when I DON’T think you need to spend the extra money. Not every upgrade, add-on or “must-do” is actually a must-do.

✨ Keeping up with your important dates and all those little Disney details so you don’t have to.

And probably the biggest one… I’m here. 🤍

You’re not booking your trip and then hearing from me again a week before you leave. We’re talking throughout the entire planning process, and I’m here while you’re actually in Disney too.

You can absolutely plan Disney on your own.

But you don’t have to figure it all out on your own. 🏰✨

There are some Disney attractions I love… and then there are the ones I’m not leaving the park without doing. 😂

My 5 attractions I’ll never skip:

🚝 PeopleMover — Is it thrilling? Absolutely not. Will I ride it every single trip? Absolutely yes. 😂 It’s the perfect little Tomorrowland break.

🦒 Kilimanjaro Safaris — No two rides are ever exactly the same, and I never get tired of it. This is always a must for me at Animal Kingdom.

🏨 Tower of Terror — The theming, the anticipation, the drop. I know exactly what’s coming and still scream every single time. 😂

🌌 Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind — The music. The ride. The energy. SO good. I could get off and immediately get back in line.

👻 Haunted Mansion — Just one of those classic Disney attractions I have to do. I’ve ridden it more times than I could ever count and somehow it still never gets old.

Okay, now tell me yours because narrowing this down to five was HARD. 😂 What attraction are you absolutely not skipping?

Last-minute Disney trips are definitely possible. ✨ You just have to be a little flexible!

The W family is heading to Disney in just THREE weeks, and we were still able to get so much checked off their list!

🌴 Beach Club with the current resort promo
🍽️ Their must-do dining reservations
🎆 AND a Magic Kingdom fireworks dessert party!

When you’re booking this close to travel, you may have to be flexible with resorts, dining times or your park plans—but that doesn’t mean you can’t still put together an amazing trip.

So if you’ve been thinking about a last-minute Disney trip but assumed it was too late… it might not be! 🏰✨

So excited for the W family!

Going to Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party for the first time? 🎃👻

There is A LOT happening during the party, and you are absolutely not going to do all of it in one night.

So go in knowing your priorities!

If it were my first party, these are the things I would make sure were on my list:

👻 Boo-to-You Halloween Parade — an absolute must for me. The Headless Horseman, the Haunted Mansion performers, the music…I LOVE this parade.

🧙‍♀️ Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular — especially if you’re a Hocus Pocus fan. The Sanderson Sisters + Cinderella Castle at Halloween? Yes.

🚀 Party attraction overlays — some attractions get a Halloween twist just for the party, so don’t assume everything is the same as a regular park day.

🍬 Trick-or-treating — and yes, the adults get bags too. 😂 You will leave with WAY more candy than you think.

🎃 Characters + party-exclusive food — this is where I’d really look ahead and decide what matters to you. Some character lines can get LONG, and you don’t want to spend half your party waiting for someone who wasn’t even a must-do.

My biggest piece of advice?

Please don’t go into the party trying to do every ride AND every character AND every show AND every treat trail. You’ll spend the entire night watching the clock.

Pick the things you would be genuinely disappointed to miss and build your night around those.

And leave yourself some time to just enjoy Magic Kingdom at Halloween. The atmosphere is half the fun. 🎃🏰

If you’ve been to Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, what’s the ONE thing you’d tell a first-timer they have to do? 👇

✨ JUST BOOKED — with a Bounceback Offer! ✨

One of my returning families is officially heading back to Disney! 🏰💙

They took advantage of Disney’s Bounceback Offer from their recent stay and locked in their next trip with a $200 refundable deposit and a great discount on their resort.

This is exactly why I always remind my families before they come home — don’t forget about that Bounceback Offer! You have up to 7 days after checkout to book it, and you don’t have to have your entire next trip figured out yet.

Dates can change. Resorts can change. Plans can change.

The important part is getting that offer locked in while you’re eligible. 🙌🏼

And yes… helping a family book their next Disney trip when they barely unpacked from the last one is one of my favorite things. 😂🏰

Welcome back to the countdown! 💙

Magic Kingdom mornings are way too valuable to waste… but so is everyone’s mood when somebody gets hangry by 10:00. 😂

And we all know it only takes ONE hungry person to bring down the whole group.

If you’re heading straight to attractions at rope drop, you definitely don’t need to stop for a big sit-down breakfast. Magic Kingdom has plenty of quick options you can work right into your morning.

🥐 Cheshire Café for something quick and sweet
🍥 Gaston’s Tavern for that giant cinnamon roll
🍳 Friar’s Nook if you want something a little heartier
🧇 Sleepy Hollow for Mickey waffles

The key is figuring out what works for YOUR family.

Maybe you grab something before you start. Maybe you knock out a few attractions while waits are low and stop for breakfast once the park starts getting busier.

Personally, I’m team rides first, food second. 😂 Give me those lower morning wait times and THEN I’ll happily stop for a Mickey waffle.

This is also the kind of little detail I think about when I’m helping families plan their park days. It’s not just which rides to do—it’s when to eat, where to stop, and how to make the morning actually work for your family.

So which are you… rope drop first or breakfast first? 🏰🧇

✨ JUST BOOKED ✨

Referrals will never stop meaning so much to me. 💙

The sweetest family was sent my way, and we officially just booked their very first Disney trip for November!

And they are doing it GOOD. 😂

🦒 Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge
🌅 Savanna View
✨ Club Level
🎄 Disney during the holidays

They were also able to take advantage of the current holiday room promotion and save on their stay, which makes it even better!

For a first trip, I’d say waking up to animals right outside your balcony and experiencing Disney during the holidays is a pretty amazing way to start. 🦒🎄

I’m so excited for this family and everything they’re going to experience for the first time! 💙

Okay, I feel like Alaska is one of those trips that you don’t fully understand how AMAZING it is until you start looking into it. 🏔️🚢

And doing it with Disney?? Even better.

You’re sailing past glaciers and mountains, watching for wildlife, exploring places like Juneau, Skagway and Ketchikan…and then coming back onboard to everything you already love about Disney Cruise Line.

Amazing dining. Shows. Kids clubs. Characters. And yes, Minnie and Mickey bundled up in their Alaska outfits because LOOK AT THEM. 😂🥹

It’s such a different kind of Disney vacation and honestly, that’s what I love about it.

You can do the parks. You can do the Caribbean cruises.

But Alaska on the Disney Wonder? That’s a whole different experience.

Definitely one for the bucket list. 🏔️✨

I think we put way too much pressure on ourselves to be in a park every minute of a Disney vacation. 🏰

And I get it.

You’ve spent months planning, you’re spending a lot of money, and once you’re there it feels like you need to fit in as MUCH as possible.

But don’t forget to actually enjoy your resort too.

Some of my favorite Disney moments have absolutely nothing to do with rides or attractions.

🌺 Sitting around the Polynesian with a Dole Whip.
☀️ Spending a few hours at the pool in the middle of the day.
🌴 Relaxing in a hammock at Caribbean Beach.
🏖️ Hanging around Beach Club and enjoying the BoardWalk area before heading into EPCOT later.

Those slower moments are part of the vacation too.

You don’t have to be rope dropping every morning and closing down a park every night to “get your money’s worth.”

Sometimes a Disney day that includes coffee by the pool, a few hours in the parks and a relaxing night back at the resort ends up being one of the best days of the whole trip.
