I got a call recently from someone in trouble on a trip that I hadn’t booked, but that didn’t stop me from jumping right in to help. She had been unknowingly slipped a drugged drunk at the all inclusive resort and had been kept safe by the person she was traveling with, but neither felt save safe at the resort and they wanted to get out of there. I got right to work, contacting the travel company and arranging their immediate travel home, including a private transfer to the airport as an extra precaution. They were back in the states the next day. Now we work on getting their expenses refunded.
We all hear travel horror stories, but some people actually live them. You never know what can happen. Be safe, travel with people you trust, and know that I will help you the very best I can!
