We get SO MANY CALLS 📞 asking if we really have snow… THIS IS HOW WE DO IT ✅

A lot of people look around town and assume conditions are the same everywhere, but our tours operate up at Rabbit Ears Pass (~9,400 ft) — not down in Steamboat Springs (~6,800 ft). That 2,600+ ft elevation difference makes a HUGE impact.

Here’s why we still have rideable snow:

🏔️ Higher elevation = colder temperatures, so snow stays longer.

🌨️ The Pass tends to pick up and hold storms better than the valley.

🗻 Shaded, high-alpine terrain helps keep coverage even when town has sun or melt.

We are fortunate that our riding area up on the Pass is a totally different snow zone. 🙌
