I’ve had so many new people follow my page recently, and I’m so thankful you’re here! I thought this would be the perfect opportunity to explain a little about how I work and what you can expect when you choose to plan your vacation with me.

I’m Kristen, owner of Travels by Kristen! I specialize in all-inclusive resorts, honeymoons, cruises, and personalized vacation planning.

One of the most common questions I receive is, “Can you send me some quotes?”

Absolutely! But I think it’s important to explain what goes into that process.

Every quote I send is personally researched and customized for you. I compare multiple suppliers, check real-time pricing and availability, review flights, promotions, room categories, and recommend the options I truly believe are the best fit for your budget and travel style. Depending on the trip, this process can take anywhere from 30 minutes to several hours.

Because of the time involved, and because travel pricing and availability can change daily, I ask that you request customized quotes when you’re genuinely ready to book and intend to book through me when we find the right vacation. I’m not asking you to book the same day, but I do ask that you reach out when you’re at the point where you’re ready to place a deposit. If you’re simply looking for a general idea of pricing before you’re ready to book, just let me know! I’m always happy to provide a general price range or show you similar packages I’ve shared on my page to give you an idea of what to expect.

Before I begin researching, I’ll ask a few qualifying questions about your travel dates, budget, and travel preferences. This helps me recommend the best fit for your needs rather than sending generic options.

To ensure I can give every client the attention they deserve, I provide up to two customized quote proposals before a deposit or planning fee is required.

Once you’ve chosen the right vacation, I’ll handle the booking details and be your dedicated travel advisor before, during, and after your trip.

It doesn’t cost you anything extra to book through me, as my commission is already built into the price whether you book directly or through me. While my pricing is often the same as booking direct (and sometimes even better thanks to exclusive promotions), the real value is having someone to answer your questions, keep track of important deadlines, prepare you for your trip, and be there if something unexpected comes up along the way.
