It is the time of year when we begin register folks for our annual Pensacola Scallop Search.
The event will occur between July 18 and August 2 this year. We will be sending teams to Big Lagoon and Santa Rosa Sound to search one of 66 grids.
To participate you will need a team of at least 3 people, your own snorkel gear, and boats are required for SOME locations.

Steinhatchee Falls, located near Steinhatchee, Florida, is the widest waterfall in the state, with a width of approximately 200 feet. The falls are situated within the Steinhatchee Falls Tract, a 1,766-acre area owned by the Suwannee River Water Management District, offering visitors opportunities for hiking, fishing, and wildlife viewing.
