Mega Seas and Mega Mahi!!!!

Woke up this morning with the wind blowing hard straight in and knew the seas were going to be stiff!! Even stopped to make sure our crews wanted to still fish! We went to an area that Zach and I haven’t been to since that was the only heading that was bearable to ride to. Ended up making to fine boxes of fish including a monster mahi!! Dean spotted it off the side of the boat and every worked out picture perfect! To cast, hook up, and land! Mahi ended up being 49 inches long which definitely is the record for us!!!

Today, I went out with Danny Shore on his boat. The Goal was to redeem myself from our inshore trip and that was definitely a success!! Lots of stud red snapper and red grouper were caught🙌🏼 including a nice mahi!!

Hard Earned Day today!!!! Started off our day with engine issues, took most of the morning to figure out/fix but we got back running and left out at noon. Fished this afternoon and made a Great Day out of limited time! Super thankful for a Great Crew who was understanding of the situation! Kevin Smith’s and Chris Vaughn’s crew is always a blast to fish with! Also very thankful to Wyatt who’s the head mechanic at Sea Hag Marina for helping us get back running!!!!
