What a phenomenal scallop season here in Steinhatchee, Florida!
Was one of our most abundant years!
I stayed quite busy, too, thanks to all my wonderful clients! Thank you! Thank you!
And so I celebrated the end of the season with family time on the water with my Super husband, our oldest son (Quinn) and our two oldest grands (Kepler & Wavey). What a blessing!
*and Rachel, too, who not only had a fabulous dinner ready for us when we got back, but also helped clean our catch.💗

Quinn set his own best record of gathering scallops; 6 gallons in 17 minutes! As well as his best record of collecting; 30 scallops on 1 breath of air!
Whew! Love it!

Such a fun time sharing my "job" with my family, and an absolute blessing!
Ever so thankful to our mighty God for all of it!

"Team Friends" had a fantastic afternoon scalloping with Crystal Sea Charters on Saturday!
First, they had a little morning river cruise before returning to Steinhatchee River Inn and Marina to wait out the morning storms.
Then the weather cleared and out we went!
Spring, Chris, Jennifer, Ronny, Jennifer and Sandy thoroughly enjoyed their Steinhatchee water time!

I met Barney and Jodi at Grace Christian Church this past Sunday. They are from Homestead, Florida.
Sweet couple that expressed an interest in scalloping. So after the morning service and lunch, we zipped out to the scalloping grounds and collected our limit. Was a fantastic time!
Thankful for an absolutely beautiful day!
Oh, we even made it back in time to attend the 6pm evening service 💗
What made this trip even extra special was that my super husband was able to go with us! 💕

"Team Enthusiasm and Joy" would be an appropriate title for this young couple!
Adam and Sarah truly relished every single moment on (and in) the water here in Steinhatchee.
Their zeal over every scallop collected, or star fish found or sand dollar discovered was uplifting.
They truly rejuvenated a spark in me as to why I love my job!

Ever so grateful for these wonderful friends 💖
Bill, Maggie and Daniel!
They thoroughly enjoyed every moment on the boat and in the water. From little discoveries of small shells, to challenging themselves to how many scallops they could hold in their hands; they appreciated and loved it all!

Another stellar time with "Team Two Hands!"
Day 2, yet year many many with this fun and ambition group!
They earned the team name a couple years ago because they needed both hands to collect them! Yes, the scallops were that abundant! And they continue to hold that title name.
