I’ve been looking around today feeling especially grateful for this wonderful old space and everything it has become.

Cowboy Way Travel shares its home with Gaze Gallery, so somewhere along the way, travel, art, things I’ve collected and pieces of my own history became beautifully intertwined.

Sometimes it’s a destination.
Sometimes it’s an anniversary.
Sometimes it’s a family story that’s been waiting generations to be explored.

And sometimes it begins with a simple sentence...

Long before airports and passports, my dad took me to horse shows and rodeos across Texas.

He’d hand me the paper map and tell me to navigate.
I took that job very seriously.

Looking back, I think that’s where Cowboy Way Travel began.

Someone handed me a fresh coconut the minute I arrived at the Waldorf Astoria Costa Rica.

I smiled.

Not because it was extravagant.

Because someone had thought about the first five minutes of my stay.
