Today we toured the College of the Ozarks. This is a Christian based no tuition college founded in 1906. Every student works at a campus job for their tuition. They are required to work around 15 hours a week doing their assigned jobs. Some of the jobs consist on working at bakery, a grits meal, stained glass making, basket weaving, nice restaurant, a dairy, a medical clinic, landscaping, hotel, gift shop & so much more. The students are also required to go to church at least 5 times in one semester. It is a non-denominational. It was a very interesting experience & if more colleges would try to do this same type of structure, our youth would be better off.
