Passport book, Passport card, or both?
Here are the main differences to help you decide what’s best for you:

Passport book: Required for international AIR travel.

Passport card: Can be used for LAND and SEA travel from Canada, Mexico, Bermuda, and parts of the Caribbean.

Both can be used to meet the Real ID requirement for domestic air travel. A passport card can be a convenient, wallet-sized form of government ID.

We visited Chichen-Itza today and it was fascinating. I have seen a few documentaries on this location and it lived up to its reputation. If you plan on visiting, I highly recommend cooling towels, fans, umbrellas, sunscreen, sun glasses, hats, and plenty of water. There are a few shady areas but most areas are in full sun. Be prepared for a long drive time if coming from the resorts in the Playa Mujeres area. It was worth it to me because this site has been on my “must see” list for a while.

The hubby and I just finished our couples massage. Rosa & Karina made us feel rejuvenated and relaxed. Before the massage, we had an hour at the hydrotherapy facilities included in our spa price. The attendants during the entire process were so friendly and went above and beyond to make sure the guests were comfortable.
