Just a reminder I do offer rides starting at sunrise and I am more than happy to start a lobstering trip then. This is the best time to be on the water in my opinion. Starting cool, calm and quiet, you can feel the day building energy. Plus the sunrise will give a good sunset a run for its money most mornings. It’s early but worth it. Funny to think this is me gaining on 28-30years ago and there is a chance that big guy is still kicking around. He may be gaining on too big to fit in our traps anymore, at least the ones I fish. I will be in Castine this Thursday offering 1 or 2 hr private lobstering charters. I have availability starting at 1:30pm. Private trip 1hr$300 allowed up to 6 people. 2hr $425 allowed up to 6 people.

I'll be headed to Castine on Friday July 31st and offering rides. They will be exclusively 1hr Authentic Lobstering Experience. Available times listed below. Payment will be due at the boat at the time of the trip, cash or venmo (QR code to scan). Kids under 13 must wear a provided or USCG approved life-jacket and be accompanied by a responsible adult. Schedule will be kept as best as possible, however dock availability and loading times may vary slightly. Please be READY and keep an eye out for the Sarah B (the boat won’t wait). If the boat loads early we can leave early and get through more traps. There is a 6 passenger max per trip (no matter age). Sign up using QR code at the dock or text ahead 207-356-6080 sign ups require venmo payment unless they are done in person day of. These times and rates are only offered for my Castine trips. See my page for normal packages and pricing.

12:00, 1:30, 3:00 and 4:30

Yesterday was packed full of boat rides and great weather. Every year our community holds a local event to encourage water and outdoors activities. For maybe the last 5-6 years or so I spend the day giving free harbor cruises, getting the locals and visitors out on the bay. The local sailing school gets people out on sail boats. The local community builders, local masons, community library, and other great groups and volunteers do an awsome job keeping those on shore entertained and fed. This year was my second year also filling in for my dad with the kids pirate ride. I'm proud to be part of a community that puts such an emphasis on sharing and giving back.

At Buggin' ME Boat Tours on most trips I can get through 15-25 traps. Alot of the time hualing in different areas and different types of bottom. This allows for a decent look at the sealife we get to see as commercial lobstermen. Most trips being private and catered to your group allows you to be as involved in the process as wanted. Or kick back enjoy the view and see what we catch. I'm not as much of a tour company as a local fisherman sharing an experience on the water.
