Earlier this week, we celebrated the launch of Gold Runner Route 5 with a ribbon-cutting event alongside transportation partners, community leaders, and supporters from across Northern California! ☀️🚍

Route 5 was made possible through federal, state and regional investment, including support from the Federal Transit Administration, Caltrans, the Tehama County Transportation Commission and the San Joaquin Joint Powers Authority.

Operated by the Redding Area Bus Authority, Route 5 provides two daily round trips connecting Redding, Red Bluff, Orland, Williams, Sacramento International Airport and Sacramento Valley Station. In Sacramento, passengers can connect with Gold Runner trains and the broader statewide passenger rail network.
