ATHENS TO SANTORINI
This trip so far is looking & feeling really good! It’s been a little over a year of research, designing the perfect package, planning, payment plans, Zoom informational calls & here we are! We came together as 29 friends and are bonding, laughing, eating & loving on one another!

We had the best time as we departed Athens and headed to our Virgin Voyages cruise through the Greek islands.

First stop , Santorini!
Santorini is the only inhabited caldera in the world, formed by one of the largest volcanic eruptions in history around 1600 BCE. The name Santorini was given by 13th-century Venetian conquerors. It is a contraction of “Santa Irini” (Saint Irene), named after a local church built on the island. Prior to this, the island was officially known as Thira (or Thera). It has over two million visitors during tour season

ATHENS GREECE - The beginning of our Greece journey is everything we could hope for so far! It took me a moment to get used to this time difference and I am finally posting some photos of our trip. We arrived with a group of 29 people and so far it’s been great!

Our first stop for a few days was in Athens. After checking into our hotel and catching up on some much needed sleep after our 10.5 hour flight, we did a visit to the Acropolis, the Acropolis museum and an Athens city tour. So much history in all of this beauty.

In the evening, we went for a group dinner to have a traditional Greece meal. And they more than delivered on our expectations. The bread, the appetizers & the salads just kept coming and we enjoyed it all “family style”. By the time our main course arrived, we were all stuffed. It was a great evening!
