The Amalfi coast - renowned and beautiful - where limoncello comes from and the sea is stunning as is the climate, where beautiful architecture blends with great food and art.
Sorrento is officially on the Bay of Sorrento yet it’s usually considered to be one of the Amalfi Coastal towns. It’s an excellent choice as a base for our tour for day trips to Amalfi and to visit Positano. Capri is easily accessible as a day trip by boat.
We have engaged guides for a tour of the markets and a food tour planned for those who enjoy fresh local flavors. Included in our trip is a limoncello mixology class with tastings. (Limoncello originated in this region)
Colorful buildings date from the 14th century and are a great spot to escape the heat in summer, but we have the advantage of traveling when the climate is warm and moderate - ahead of the larger crowds of summer yet set to enjoy the fabulous sunshine. Throughout town there are wonderful spots from which to admire the coastline, the blues of the sea and the fishing boats and people watch the harbor.
Marina Grande is the old port in Sorrento and still a working fishing port. There are some charming restaurants along the water’s edge and boutique shopping through local owners.
The iconic Italian food dish, cannelloni, was invented here over 100 years ago. Shops and dining are bedecked with flowers and lemon trees. It's a gorgeous town setting in a beautiful part of the world.

This is a SMALL group, curated tour for those who want to enjoy seeing and doing the "best things" in a preplanned, relaxed setting without the hassle of planning it yourself.
