I am here in Walt Disney World.
It’s been wonderful!
The social distancing is working very well and feels more like everyone is being polite and giving you space than feeling afraid of each other.
It doesn’t feel restricted, just controlled and I don’t mind it at all.

Happy New Year!
Let’s think about vacations again!
Just thinking about them or planning one for the future is relaxing and fun! I’ve done this a lot during these stressful months.
2021 will bring us some new hope as we work our way through these very challenging past months (almost a year now) due to COVID 19.
As the vaccines roll out we are seeing baby steps back into travel. But it is a new kind of travel for now and we need to be ok with it.
Lots and lots of rules in place, absolutely needed, but, if you follow the protocols, you can get away and return without getting yourself or anyone else infected, just like you can go shopping or to work. You need to wear your masks properly and wash your hands often.
My family had COVID at Christmas, I know this virus very well now. Even with antibodies, we still need to be very cautious.
These rules are going to be in place for quite awhile I suspect because we still don’t know if antibodies or vaccinated individuals can still be carriers for the virus. But that doesn’t mean we can’t get out there and travel in a responsible way.
I have clients who have spoken with their physicians who support them planning travel as long as they follow the safety guidelines at all times.
It depends on your personal health issues, your dedication to following the health recommendations and your comfort level.
I am here to help you do that whenever you are ready.

It’s been so long since I’ve posted.
I think of you all so much. I worry about you all too, I want you all to be safe and healthy.
I thought it best to let us all focus on safety and health while I hoped that we could think about travel sooner than later.
There is much optimism for travel next year, I even made plans for my family. Fingers crossed we can go.
Of course many companies are offering huge discounts to encourage you to visit their properties next year and I have all the details if you are interested in learning more.
Most of all I want to wish you all a healthy and safe holiday season.
I look forward to all of us being on the other side of this pandemic where we can travel without worry.
It will happen and I will be here to help you have the most wonderful trip.

Guess what is in 499 days?
That’s right!
Walt Disney World’s 50th Anniversary !!!
You KNOW this is going to be an amazing celebration, especially after all that we have been through.
Guess what else?
I can make you reservations now to join in the fun! It’s true!
Let me know if you’d like to go for all the magic that Disney has to offer!
Right now there is still so much uncertainty and for many, pain.
We have a funeral for a loved one this Friday. These times are truly difficult when mourning a loved one.
It’s important that we do things to stay focused on the future and bring some positive into these dark days.
We know this will end and we will deserve lots of special things to celebrate.
One way to stay positive is to plan a vacation for when it is safe and when it is all over. I know because that is what my family is doing.
By planning now we have lots of time to pay it off but it gives us hope at the end of a long haul.
My thoughts are with all of you. If anyone needs anything please reach out to me and I will do whatever I can to help you.

I hope this post finds you and your families healthy. I worry about each of you and hope that we can all get to the other side of this situation unscathed.
If anyone needs anything please let me know. Seriously. There are some amazing resources out there and I am a proud member of many of them.
It’s the last day of April, it feels like early March, everything is tipsy turvy right now! However, I am hopeful.

Lots of clients and families wanting to know when they can begin to travel. I want to know when as well.
As the summer gets closer of course we all think about those great get-aways. This year will probably look different.
I need to know that we are not risking lives, our own or others before I will send anyone anywhere.
That said, it’s exciting to see some solutions for this awful virus on the horizon. I am hopeful.
After things have calmed down we are all going to deserve a wonderful vacation like never before.
I’m not completely counting out summer travel this year, I have some worries about late fall and winter though as this is supposed to come back again during that time. It’s not good news but it’s important to be up front so we can work together.
I’ve been helping clients make plans for next spring and summer.
I feel strongly that we will be in great shape by then. We are so lucky to have the best in the world all working together to solve this deadly problem.

Sending love and light to everyone.
This is a test none of us ever expected but we are all taking care of each other, showing the beauty in the most ugly of times.
I’ve been taking care of clients who needed to reschedule with great assistance from my vendors. Disney, Carnival and Royal Caribbean especially have been amazing.
We are being positive about the future of travel while being realistic.
This may take time but when it’s safe again it will be as magical as it always was and as we need it to be.
To keep upbeat my family and I watch YouTube videos of our favorite places to visit. What a great way to be together and have some fun.
Please stay safe and healthy and make sure you are taking time to bring some joy to this difficult days. It’s hard sometimes, but you are worth it.

I know we are all still trying to figure out our new normal right now.
It’s a frustrating and scary time on many levels. It’s important that we take care of ourselves when we are so stressed.
Sometimes we can feel better by helping.
Right now our local Red Cross Blood Donation Banks are in desperate need.
