Welcome June!
Join us this Thursday, June 4th, at 6pm to Hike with a Ranger!
Our rangers offer monthly hikes to highlight our beautiful parks. This week we will visit Shaw Woods, Working Lands Park together which features mature woods, high-quality wetlands, headwater streams, and the West Branch of the Mahoning River.

Thank you so much to Blasiole's Pizza for the honor of being the Blasiole’s Community Table – June Honoree. Mark those calendars because on Monday, June 15th from 5-8PM 10% of all sales will be donated to the Streetsboro Heritage Foundation in my honor.

The river is all clear again!
A Short Adventure Kayak Rentals is OPEN Saturday and Sunday until they put their last kayak in at 3pm!
It's a 5.9 miles that will take you around 3-4 hours to paddle.
It's $30 per person to rent!
It's $15 per person to bring your own kayak!
We accept CASH or VENMO only.
Sorry NO credit cards accepted.

👀 Catch “LeRoy Neiman: A Keen Observer of Style,” an exhibition featuring the iconic artist’s early fashion illustrations, before it closes on June 28 at Kent State University Museum!
🎨Many of the pieces in the exhibition are drawings in ink, watercolor, and marker. These often have less color, but pieces like “Emile Griffith in Red Robe” show glimpses of Neiman’s beginnings as a master colorist. This piece in particular highlights his role as observer as Neiman, in a 2011 interview, recalled being close enough to the boxing ring to notice that Griffith’s good luck charms were the silk robes he wore every fight, handmade by his mother.
