There are quite a few new faces around here lately, so it feels like a good time to reintroduce myself!

I’m Casey, a wife, mom of two girls, Travel Advisor, bookworm, and someone whose heart will always belong somewhere in Europe.

My husband, Cory, works in law enforcement, and we met 18 years ago while studying abroad in Europe. This December, we’ll celebrate our 16th wedding anniversary. We’re raising our girls to love travel, and some of my favorite memories are the ones we’ve made exploring new places together.

We live in Florida, which puts the theme parks and cruise ports practically in our backyard. It’s given me so many opportunities to experience these destinations firsthand, both as a mom traveling with my own family and as a Travel Advisor learning them through the lens of my clients.

Travel advising is my second career. My background is in mental health, and I spent 15 years in that field before making this career change. I started my travel business in 2023 while still working full time, and for two years I built the two careers alongside each other. Last November, I made the leap, left the career I had known for my entire adult life, and transitioned into travel advising full time. It was a big change, but I have a true passion for my career as a Travel Advisor!

I’ve traveled to 25 countries (and counting!), and while Europe will always have my heart, my work takes me all over the world. On any given day, I might be planning a honeymoon in Switzerland, a family trip to Disney, an Alaskan sailing, a river cruise, or a Christmas market trip through Europe.

I love putting all of the puzzle pieces together, from researching destinations and comparing options to working through logistics and anticipating the little details that can make a big difference once you’re actually traveling. I truly enjoy figuring out how to make a trip flow well, especially when handling those details means you don’t have to.

Outside of travel, you’ll usually find me with a book, spending time with my family, at church, somewhere near the water, or dreaming about where we might explore next.

So, if you’re new here, hi! I’m really glad you found me. And if you’ve been here since the days when I was building my business during lunch breaks, evenings, and weekends while still working full time, thank you for sticking around. It’s pretty incredible to look back at where this started and see what it has grown into.

PS- because of the nature of my husband’s work, you will always see my kids’ faces covered here. Can’t be too careful with my babies!

I know it isn’t Super Bowl season right now, but I had a conversation with a client the other day about Royal Gathering on Disney Cruise Line— the stress leading up to grabbing the reservations for my travelers, and the rush that comes from knowing that it was worth staying up until midnight to secure that special reservation. She said “that must be like the Super Bowl for Travel Planners,” and she’s right! So that got me to thinking about some other experiences that feel like a Super Bowl win in this line of work.

1. Getting to email a client to tell them that a new promo decreased the price of their package.
2. Finalizing a complex Europe itinerary with trains and transfers all lining up properly.
3. “Our friend told us that we have to work with you for our trip!”
4. When all of the hard-to-get reservations for a large family group are secured.
5. Clicking “confirm” on a dream trip you’ve been building for weeks, knowing the *real* fun is coming.
6. Watching my travelers in destination sharing all about their experience on social media (and seeing them realize it’s even better than you could explain to them).
7. When a client says “we trust your feedback on this.”
8. Getting an email or text from a repeat client saying that they’re ready to plan their next adventure
9. Hearing “we couldn’t have done this without you.”
10. Seeing people step into places they’ve only dreamed about before.

These are the moments that feel like a win every single time!

Despite my husband and I not being big Star Wars fans, my dad has made sure that my oldest is a bit obsessed. We spent a Friday night at Galaxy’s Edge recently and had the BEST time!

Ps- Big Thunder Mountain reopened today following a major refurbishment! I can’t wait to try it again. It’s my favorite ride at Magic Kingdom!

When am I gonna stop talking about our group cruise?
