Perhaps one of the literal sweetest memories of all is found tucked away on a hillside in Patrick Springs - Martin’s Blueberry Hill.

Since 1984, families and friends have wandered through the rows of sun-drenched blueberry bushes, filling their buckets and their hearts with memories that last long after summer fades. One of our favorite back-to-school traditions is picking blueberries as the sun slips behind the mountains—gathering enough for school lunches, pancakes, and sweet little reminders of summer days gone by.

Blueberries are $6 a gallon... but the laughter, sunshine, and togetherness? That’s priceless.

🎆✨ Celebrate the 4th of July with a spectacular fireworks show over DeHart Park in the Town of Stuart, Virginia!

Bring your lawn chairs, blankets, and your favorite people for a classic summer night filled with small-town charm and big-time celebration. The fireworks start at 9:30 so come early and find a great viewing spot!

Parking Tips:
🚗 Parking is available at DeHart Park, but spots fill up quickly. Additional parking can be found at Stuart Baptist Church, First Horizon Bank, the Patrick County Library, and all along Main Street & the lot in front of the Administration Building.
🚶‍♂️ It’s a short walk from uptown to the park— the hill has room for everyone to enjoy the show!
👩‍🚒 Stuart Volunteer Fire Department is also offering donation-based parking in their lot, located right beside DeHart Park. Get up close to the action while supporting our local heroes!

Choose from a variety of restaurants and savor the flavor of a home cooked meal. Slip back into the past by visiting one of Virginia's eight covered bridges, Jack’s Creek Covered Bridge. Experience a sun-filled day at Fairy Stone State Park or get involved in one of our many annual festivals like Floydfest or Front Porsh Fest.
